A place not barren,
but not filled with life.
Subtlety escaping in

shudder.

Fitting that I would
find you here, motionless,
discreetly patient.
The crouching demon
disguised in "devotion"
hiding between

Love
You.

I had feared, however briefly
that you would forget me,
my own thoughts.
Always bent on shutting
out the truth I myself
can not
bear to
take.
